Scholars will explore the 7 elements of art while learning techniques in a variety of art media. Each lesson is infused with OURstory, culture and geography.

Learning Outcomes:
Scholars will gain key knowledge on elements of art used as the building blocks for all art creation. They will gain a solid understanding of our inherent need to create and to be surrounded by creativity.

Materials Needed:
- drawing pad,
- drawing pencils (4B & 6B),
- markers, colored pencils,
- paints & paint brushes,
- ruler,
- glue (substitutes welcome,
- some special projects may need additional material, parents will be notified in advance)
