This course is an African Centered portrait drawing course. Each week we’ll focus on a feature of the body including the ears, eyes, nose, mouth and hair. Scholars will learn valuable techniques in pencil portraiture while celebrating the diverse phenotypes of melanated people

- drawing pad
- drawing pencils (4B & 6B)
- markers
- colored pencils
- paints & paint brushes
- ruler
- glue
(substitutes welcome, some special projects may need additional material, parents will be notified in advance)
